Sara Wolfgang (LMT, BS) joined Body Mechanics Sports Massage Therapy in July 2008. She is a graduate of the Atlanta School of Massage, a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and is also nationally certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. Sara also has a Bachelors of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont.
Sara has been working with Atlanta area athletes and as a medical staff volunteer at the ING Georgia Marathon, AVP Professional Volleyball, Perfect Game USA Baseball, and other local area events. As part of the Body Mechanics team, Sara is entering her second year with the Atlanta Falcons, and her first year with the Atlanta Hawks professional organizations.
Using her experience as an athlete has given Sara the knowledge to treat many different types of injuries and work with rehabilitating many of the clients that come to see us. She specializes in techniques such as Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Sports Massage, Deep Tissue and Relaxation but has skill using other techniques as well. In her spare time, Sara plays on a local volleyball team, and also enjoys going up to the North Georgia Mountains, Boston Red Sox baseball, and traveling to Massachusetts to visit her family.
