Jesse’s excitement is in your performance and your life being of the highest possible quality.
Jesse is a part of Body Mechanics Sports Massage, which likely helps more professional athletes than any other massage practice in the United States. Since 2005, he has worked as a staff massage therapist in the training room of the NBA Atlanta Hawks and the facility of the NFL Atlanta Falcons. He was privileged to travel with the Atlanta Hawks for the 2010 NBA Playoffs. He works with athletic trainers, orthopedists, chiropractors, physical therapists, and coaches. Working with Body Mechanics has opened doors of which most people could only dream.
Jesse is continually learning and he knows that even those considered to be the best need teachers and coaches. He studied Muscle Activation Techniques, advanced therapeutic massage techniques, positional release, yogassage, craniosacral, and lymphatic. He continues to study bio-mechanics of the human body with Brian Glotzbach and Don Myers. He also continues to study Shiatsu and the Five Elements Theory with Shinzo Fujimaki. He assimilates all of his knowledge with his natural gift of touch to provide a rich healing experience in the massage context.
Sports and movement have been Jesse’s passions since he was a young child. He played football, basketball, baseball and reached a level of success in rock climbing and high jump in track and field. As a high jumper with Big Ten Conference Champion track team at Wisconsin, Jesse trained with champion athletes and coaches everyday.
He graduated with a dual biology degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison and massage training at Body Wisdom in Urbandale, Iowa. His continuing education includes an Eastern philosophy approach to health.
